Peter Lampert Bergen (born December 12, 1962) is an American journalist, documentary producer, think tank executive, professor, and author, best known for his work on national security and counterterrorism. He is CNN's national security analyst, a vice president at the think tank New America, and a professor of practice at Arizona State University.
